After concerns that Apple might underclock its blazing-fast M1 SoC in the new iPad Air 5, first benchmark entries in Geekbench 5 now fortunately show that this is not the case.

What's the point of using M1 chip on ipad air or even ipad pro ? When you're just too much constrained by the iPados, using even a15 is more than enough.

Apple does not know it yet, but introducing M1 to the iPad Air motivates more users to cry for macOS so that, eventually, yet a decade later, Apple will give in;)
