Microsoft managed to issue a fix for the Windows 11 / Windows Server 2022 encryption vulnerability that makes use of the Vector Advanced Encryption Standard, but the patch is impacting CPU performance. Affected CPUs include Intel's 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th gen models, while AMD's affected models include Zen 3 and upcoming Zen 4 processors.
