Acer's well-equipped 15.6-inch multimedia all-rounder handles all current computer games and represents them smoothly on the matte, Full HD, IPS display. A surprise is the excellent battery life.

17 inches aspire 7 is SOOOO much better.
Can you explain?
Overall this seems great besides the screen, might consider buying the 17" but prefer 15" .

imagine the same device but with much better screen and quieter. usability x2
A screen that dim is an utter joke and insult rendering this machine almost unusable.
Should get 0%.
Why no lantencymoon test ?
How can anyone outside the odd business consumer be satisfied with a screen that displays around 50% sRGB? Why are these even being produced?

in a 200-300usd machine? everyone. :)
the funny thing-this is aspire SEVEN. top of the lineup.
Has this laptop any throttling issues?
I bought it, and returned it. Build quality is excellent, it is like a tank.
Thought to myself the screen can not be soooo bad. Well, it is!!
Blue is fine, green is passable (barley), red is the problem. It displays 255,0,0 RGB red as dark orange. And calibration did not help.
It is a joke!!!! >:( >:( >:( >:(
