Title: Possible NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti sample hits 3DMark Time Spy
Post by: Redaktion on June 22, 2020, 15:12:23
An early example of the RTX 3080 Ti may have been spotted on 3DMark Time Spy. The Ampere GPU, thought to be based on a GA102, posted over a 30% higher graphics score than the RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition and even managed to outperform the NVIDIA TITAN RTX.

If this article is a real leak for the next GPU, it would be the 3080, not the 3080Ti. They wouldn't make the 3080Ti perform worse than the current 2080Ti. Since this is most likely the case, the next GPU's are something special because the 3080 destroys the current stock 2080Ti and RTX Titan, so you can imagine what a 3080Ti will do.

The chart here shows that the unknown card is better than the stock 2080TI. The super overclocked 2080TI beats it but that card is irrelevant when comparing founder edition cards. This unknown card is, more than likely, the 3080TI.

If that's the 3080ti then everyone will be disappointed
