Visually, the UX580 is nothing more than a UX550 with a secondary trackpad display. Users not interested in the dual-screen capabilities of the UX580 can now get the UX550 with an Intel 8th gen Core i7 processor for $1800 USD.

This new update also includes a 3rd heat pipe according to Asus' website, so I am hopeful this may help mitigate some of the heating issues that plagued the UX550VE.
i5-8300H option will be available in selected market.
Such model can be found in university laptop promotion in sone Hong Kong universities.
:( I have had it for two months, I am completely disappointed with this laptop and the quality of service, both ports of usb 3.1 operate like usb 2.0 (approx. 40 MB/s) and this could not be repaired. The power plug is small and enters not precisely, power supplay is big and heavy (150W) I'm afraid that it will finally break down. This laptop cannot be charged through the docking station .I've bought a second 150W power supply (I need to work and a second at home ), it is tough to buy and i waited more than three weeks for delivery. I suggest to think before buying and maybe look for something more solid - the laptop is nice and fast but for this price should be better quality, contact with the service (in Poland) is not satisfied.
