Only a week after a woman in New York claimed her new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 went up in flames, a Redditor's S7 Edge has also exploded, and this time the user has substantial proof.

It was a female, and she got a Galaxy S9 from Samsung as a replacement.
So what. Most Reddit users are dumb kids. This kid ran to reddit instead of the manufacturer. Yelp does this all the time with reviews as does Amazon. Take your review down and no one gets hurt type stuff. This whole article blows.

Urgh, this seems obvious in hindsight. I'll update the article.

Probably should've read the whole thing, I guess. The user did complain to both Samsung USA and the regional Samsung branch.
Same thing happened to my S6 2 months ago but no one gave me new phone and never will. All my phones, since I was a kid, were Samsung. I was a fan for 20 years.

If something like that happens, reach out to media outlets.
I have both an S6 edge and an S7 edge. I use both through wifi but only my S7 is connected to my Verizon mobile network. Never had any problems. However, my S7 sometimes get extremely hot when charging, specially more so if I forget to disconnect it after fully charged. My question is should I be concerned? Should I contact Samsung to ask if this is normal? I like my S7 a lot and don't want nor need more advanced phones, but the article about exploding got S7s got me worry.
My S7 died in the middle of the most recent software upgrade. I left it on the charger while it was doing it. Then Samsung support totally screwed it up (nice man was trying hard). Phone is dead.
My galaxy s7 edge was left in my night table and next day the rear camera had a Crack a tiny hole in it with out been drop. Other user have exactly the same issue and sane hole in their rear camera. I'm ready to never purchase another Samsung product ever.
I have a galaxy s7 it gets very hot I can't keep a case on
Oh poor babys. Go to sandbox and throw sticks on each other and this bad , nasty phone.
My S7 gets hot sometimes, specifically when some apps aren't close and I keep it in my pocket. So what. It works like a champ
I had the 7 edge plus and screen went dark in the middle of the night. I couldn't read text messages or make phone calls but could receive calls if I had my headset on because it would automatically answer. I was extremely upset because my mom was just had bypass surgery and was home for only 3 days when this happened. The phone would get warmer than usual when charging but other than that worked fine. I had it for almost 2 years.
To my knowledge a handful of devices with Li-ion batteries go every year, regardless of brand.
Samsung is the bomb! <<<BOOM!>>> ... this and Mr. Jong-Un Kim... >:D
