The Russian blue cat has gone into overdrive lately about Samsung's next flagships, originally thought to be called the Galaxy S11 series. Apparently renamed the Galaxy S20 series, the top leaker has extolled another reason why we should be looking forward to the S20 and S20+.

That's total overkill. I don't know what could be use of that much RAM on Android, except for brute-forcing the background process issue.
Its not about increasing because phones need it. They just put the newest tech in phones and LPDDR5 chips starts at 8 GB . The LPDDR4x chips started at 4GB. So its still one chip.
