The foldable market stands at the very peak of the premium smartphone segment, and cameras are a rather important feature in that price bracket. It's no surprise, then, that Microsoft has announced its intent to provide the upcoming Surface Duo with brilliant camera performance.

I predict that this is the hill Panay has chosen to die on. These devices stand no chance in the market. Either they lack the capabilities to do well like a poor camera or is way too expensive to get any traction. This is ignoring the fact that almost no apps will be updated to support the device capabilities
Lets hope it does and a battery that can last a full day either way ill be getting two on launch day, my partner even said she wants one and wants to leave apple :D
pricing will be a major sales factor. too high & only a few will ever consider it. too cheap & consumer perception will sour - especially if there are UI issues.
also, the Duo has no exterior screen. so hoping that the hinge will allow it to fold outwards like the current 2-in-1 laptops.
but overall, this is the type of product nobody asked for - but everybody will want it or something like it.
