Developer and tweaker 1usmus recently unveiled his new ClockTuner utility for AMD Ryzen 3000 processors. ClockTuner uses an automated process to overlock and undervolt Zen 2 CPUs, netting effectively free performance, potentially without stability issues or greater power draw. The tool releases next month, not long before the arrival of Intel's new Rocket Lake S parts.

'While Ryzen 3000 is getting a bit long in the tooth, an extra few percent of single and multithreaded performance could help close the gap with Rocket Lake S. '
