Laut neuen Marktdaten der International Data Corporation (IDC) werden im Jahr 2020 weltweit voraussichtlich 396,0 Millionen Wearables ausgeliefert. Dies bedeutet einen Anstieg um 14,5 Prozent gegenüber 2019 (345,9 Mio.). IDC geht davon aus, dass der Absatz bis 2024 auf fast 640 Mio. wachsen wird.
