MediaTek is looking to release fast 6 nm processors for the budget-oriented Chromebooks in 2021. The upcoming MT8195 processor will be similar to Apple's ARM-based proprietary processors that are scheduled to release with next year's MacBooks, and will include powerful AI features along with possible Wi-Fi 6 and 5G integration.
