Title: Xbox Series S “Lockhart” GPU specs leak: 1280 shader core Navi GPU slower than Xbox One X, AMD Radeon 5500XT - can it really do 1080p/60 FPS?

Further details have emerged about the Xbox Series S's purported GPU. A tweet by The Verge's Tom Warren claims that "Lockhart" will have a 20 CU GPU, marginally slower than the Xbox One X and the Radeon RX 5500 XT. This raises a key question: will Lockhart truly be fast enough to power 9th-gen experiences, even at a lowly 1080p?

In Borderlands 3, RX 5700 XT is pushing a solid 85FPS in 1440p resolution with graphic settings set at ultra level.

Lol your comparing rdna1 gpu to rdna2 gpu and gcn gpu how do you think 5500xt is around x1x perf even though much lower specs like 22 cu vs 40 cu.

20 rdna2 cu will easily beat 40 gcn ones  and for sure beat 22 rdna 1 cu or at min match it.

Vega 64 approx 13 tflops, 4096 shading cores, 64 compute units yet 5700xt beats it by 20%+ with approx 10 tflops 2560 shading cores, 40 compute units

Overall series s likely beats Xbox one x by a bit at the very minimum it matches it.
