Had your fill of the GTX 16 series yet? Well, Gigabyte has gone and released a GDDR6 version of the GTX 1650. No, that is not a joke. The cards, as there are two of them, feature 4 GB of VRAM running at 12 Gbps. Presumably based on the TU117, the cards support 896 CUDA cores and a 128-bit memory bandwidth. Discovered by @momomo_us, the GDDR6 versions of the GTX 1650 are available to purchase now. Expect other AIBs to follow suit, too.

Not pointless, if they will update single slot GTX 1650's. Just because GTX 1650 are the most powerful single slot gpus you may get to fit into bunch of extremely sexy HTTPC / extra tiny ITX cases. In that segment, even 5-7% increase in power is considered a HUGE win :)
Only reason i can think of is that they are getting GDDR6 for cheaper when buying more of it, so they'll just slap in cheaper cards too.

There are RTX 2060's and even RTX 2070's in that size too...

He was talking about single pcie slot, half height cards that don't need an extra power connector. His point is right!

No, unfortunately, there aren't even any single-slot 1650 super or 5500XT, not talking about RTX 2060 and RTX 2070! I meant cards with height of single pcie slot which don't need power connector. For example, the strongest card which my LoneIndustries L5 case can accomodate is currently GTX 1650.
P.S. Ups, Rizwan Ali just explained it well.
