An official image of the upcoming Dell XPS 15 9500 and the XPS 17 9700 along with 2020 Precision mobile workstations was briefly posted on Dell's website before it was taken down. The image confirms the anticipated redesigns of the XPS lineup including a 16:10 display, an all-Thunderbolt 3 port selection, larger trackpad, and ultra-slim bezels on all sides.

Was thinking about buying XPS 15 lately, and if these rumors are true and new XPS 15 will look like this, you got my money DELL

The XPS seems like a meh, they are wasting ports on a power port instead of an extra usb-c, keyboard seems squished instead of giving us more keys, trackpad seems terrible as usual.

The Precision also seems to be wasting a port on power instead of an extra usb-c. If that is a 15 inch model that keyboard looks decent, trackpad looks good, if its thermals are okay and it runs Ryzon then maybe it is worth considering.

Another year, another keyboard layout change.

It's sad that for the amount of engineering the goes into a device like this, they insist on cheaping out and cramming the power/fingerprint reader in the keyboard assembly, where delete usually sits....

QuoteGiven that the upcoming XPS lineup will use at least a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti

Where does that information come from? That would be great but I doubt they'll be able to put such a powerful gpu in such a slim laptop.

Thanks for spotting it. :) You're right. It should be a 1650 Ti and not a 1660 Ti. Article has been corrected.

Isn't the 4k resolution in 16:10 aspect ratio actually 3840x2400 (WQUXGA)? 4x FHD in 16:9 aspect ratio is 3840 × 2160.

Right. Corrected. Thanks :)

There's no such thing as a GTX 1650 Ti...
Maybe a 1650 Super, considering the Super line is coming to laptops in the RTX cards, but no 1650 Ti...

My dream machine. xps body, 14 inch display, 16:10, latitude keyboard layout.👌

Is it something  like that  on the market?

There is a GTX 1650 Ti. It was announced alongside the new Super Mobile GPUs last week.

I also checked again and looked at the leaked Roadmap. It appears the new XPS 17 will have a GTX 1660Ti and the 2020 XPS 15 will keep a variant of the GTX 1650. That also makes sense given the presumably better cooling in a larger notebook. I'm really stoked for the re-design and looking forward to a review of the FHD+ version!
