Quotebut that has now slipped for some reason

Probably because they are talking out their a** and have no idea... but hey, they get plenty of ad revenue from gullible clowns who follow them.

How is that actual journalism coming along investigating HP force installing spyware on their business laptops?

HP spy everybody since 2008 with their spyaware.

HW is backdoored, SW are compromised, tour email are under controls, even famours uncrackable mails that resist against NSA/CIA are clowns services, like Tutanota/Protonmail/Chiaramail/Threema/Telegram/Signal, so why are you complaining about nothing? this is the price of tech.

PS for your knowledge that "spyware" was put from an agreement between 8200&HP, but them are under control NSA&GRU, this is the world.  ;D

you have the option of HP backdoor that you mentioned or All your data apple data to be legally monitored and fully accessible to china in accordance to china's cyber security law.
at least HP's keylogger can be solved by not installing their software.
