Unlike the legendary 911, which will transition to a hybrid architecture before going all-electric, the upcoming electric variants of the small Porsche 718 Boxster and Cayman are expected to replace their combusting predecessors right upon their release in 2025, which may not be to the liking of old-fashioned fans of these world-famous German sports cars.
