After being around for less than a decade, Google's URL shortener goo.gl — initially used for Feedburner and Google Toolbar — will go down in three stages. Support for it went down yesterday, from April 13 only existing users will be able to create short links, and the service is scheduled to go down for good on March 30, 2019.

I've always used bit.ly, it's great for me.
Bitly is definitely a good choice.
I wonder what will happen with Feedburner which is still running, but which uses goo.gl itself...
Good question! It will probably go down quietly... but there's some time left until then. I am still actively using goo.gl for the time being.
These day I use "shitp.st"
Where are the US and EU antitrust agencies looking - these creatures from Evil Corp "Google" deliberately slow down FireFox - the same videos on YouTube in 2.5k/4k open many times faster, under FF it is generally impossible to watch the same live streams with 2.5k+! Rewinding practically does not work, unlike Chrome, even 20 versions older than the FF version!!!

ff is notorious for requesting video formats that are not hardware accelerated
