A very old soc (Snapdragon 730G is ancient compared to the 765/768), the usual small battery (bigger than usual for a pixel, still very small compared to the competition), and the same old camera sensors they have been refining for years now
Yeah, Snapdragon 768 is approved by cool story bruh bureau current minimum imaginary standard for everyday phones, battery capacity and battery life are totally the same thing but next time just enter a third of used in your sentence worlds in Google search, camera wise enjoy your "zeuss nokia".
730G doesn't support e.g. Bluetooth 5.2, which means no support for LE Audio and LC3 codec

"same old camera sensors" that clearly beat the competitors. No better photos in this price range.

Mediocre, yes, very mediocre!

A very old soc (Snapdragon 730G is ancient compared to the 765/768), the usual small battery (bigger than usual for a pixel, still very small compared to the competition), and the same old camera sensors they have been refining for years now (yes, it's one of the best cameras on a smartphone, but they still will need to stop using that dead beat cheap sensor eventually).

It's a great phone (only thing stopping me from buying one is it only start shipping in europe around the end of september/begin of october, by which time i'll either have bought a nokia with android one or the pixel 5 will available), but the hardware is nothing special, you're the fanboys if you can't see that.

The only real competition in the same category as the 4a is the Samsung s10e and it's almost twice the price (in EU).

So of course it'll sell well - other companies are totally ignoring the "compact" market segment.

The Pixel 4a is one of the lightest and most compact near-flagship hones around, despite having a full-face screen (no big bezels). Sadly, that doesn't stop the Apple fanboi Notebookcheck writer fromsaying it is "mediocre" everother sentence.

The Pixel 4a may have unsurprising specifications, but it is proving popular on websites like Amazon and Best Buy. The device is so popular, in fact, that is currently one of the best-selling smartphones on the two eCommerce platforms in the US. The Pixel 4a retails for US$349.
