More rumors about next-generation Sony Xperia smartphones have emerged, with claims being made about the camera equipment and sound system for future Xperia devices. Both the Xperia 1 V and Xperia 5 V are allegedly being redesigned to fit their large cameras, while likely the Mark 5 variant of the Xperia 1 could end up with record-breaking speakers. https://www.notebookcheck.net/Sony-Xperia-1-V-and-5-V-face-massive-redesigns-due-to-outsized-camera-equipment-and-record-breaking-sound-system.666301.0.html

Yes I am sorry I will not support your Sony mobile phone experia X5 model. I will launch the new one instead.
I bought every Sony Xperia I Mark I, II, III, IV... everytime sending/selling them back: the auto camera mode is an absolute joke (I know you buy this cause you do manual... bla bla bla, not an excuse to me), battery life is miserable, the phone is hot whatever you do, and almost never any update. For that price point... no way! Only the form factor and the side fingerprint sensor are ok to me.
You guys still believe a phone can take decent images? Just stop it, OK. Get a DSLR or a mirrorless camera and MAN THE FOCK UP.

It can. But only in good light and with correct composition for the built-in lense. By the end of the day, it is always in the pocket, unlike DSLR. Of course when I go somewhere, and I know there will be something to take pictures of, I do get Pro DSLR with me, and lenses as well. But it is two flight case of gear, I can not have it with me at all times.

Well well, we shouldn't blame the phone camera for it's user lack of photography skills and sense of art.
Moved from experia i11. Thought would love it. Ended up really not liking it. Fingerprint sensor really poor. Camera not great. dropped calls / couldn't get reception. Expensive.
Good screen, 3.5mm jack expandable storage were the positives. Such a shame. Pixel 7 pro. Now. Much happier.

You CAN take excellent pictures with it! And with 256GB built in memory+ expandable !! How much built in memory has a dslr, 8GB or some s*** like that?? So you're stuck with s***-expensive memory cards! No no no!!
Only the most delusional and hardcore Sony fanboys still buy a Xperia phone.
Software updates are poor. Phone overheats. Photo/video quality is still bad for the price of the phone.
If not for Sony's other businesses doing well, Xperia phones would have been discontinued like the LG phones.
It is amazing how Sony, being the top sensor manufacturer on the planet, cannot make the best cameras in their smartphones and the best software for them, as well as, in general, cannot debug high-quality and stable smartphone firmware with maximum ergonomic UI.
It turns out, as the people say - a shoemaker without boots...
