Thank heavens the sale configuration comes with 16 GB of RAM instead of just 8 GB of RAM. The new price is a bit lower than a Dell Latitude 14 or HP EliteBook when both are configured with similar specifications.

I really don't get the market for these laptops. The Mac lineup is much better value and much better performance.
Not everyone wants a Mac. I love ThinkPads. They're a great choice for Linux.
When will you review gen 9, btw? I've been waiting for your review before I decide.
