Title: HP EliteBook 840 G5 (i7-8550U, SSD, FHD) Laptop Review
Post by: Redaktion on May 31, 2018, 12:20:44
Privacy screen at the touch of a button. When it comes to Hewlett Packard's top-of-the-line model from their Elitebook 840 G5 series, the manufacturer isn't fiddling about. On board you'll find a very bright IPS display with a privacy screen, an LTE modem, 32 GB of RAM and an NVMe SSD. HP appears to have set their sights somewhat lower in the realm of battery lifeā€”some of the competition has more to offer here.

Good review as almost always. However, testing the 1000th Intel machine must get boring, no? How about the AMD powered EliteBooks?

I see that the camera only scored 27 / 85. Could you share the test methodology?

Why would this model run cooler? Very confusing.
