Inspiring. Ultrabooks have found their way into Dell's Inspiron family. The all-rounders of the past now benefit from lower weight and longer battery life, in addition to the good performance. We examine whether the ultrabook measures up to the broad multimedia class.

I have had the 15z for almost two months, and the connectivity problem exists as well, on virtually any network that I use - random disconnects that are only remedied by hibernating/restarting the computer. It is very annoying!
How difficult is it to change the HDD?
I have a model with HDD and want to replace it by an SSD...
I have had to have the motherboard and daughterboard replaced twice on mine!
I also have problems with the wifi randomly dropping the connection (says limited connectivity) you have to forget the connection and then make it again to get it back. This is very frustrating. Other wifi devices in the same room as the 15z have no problems at all.
i have problem with brightness...... when i blog out the power cable it auto contrast the brightness even i increase it...
as...when i open a dark photo the brightness comes low..and it cant chamge
I have the same problem with connectivity.. I am very dissatisfied!!!
I have purchased 15z in may,2013 and getting lot of issue. Dell replaced 2 times motherboard and WI-FI card. Still facing lot of other issue. Not Recommending to anyone.
It sucks very bad. I bought DELL INSPIRON 15Z 5523 on September 2013. By Jan 2014 my OS crashed. Calling customer care is a horrible situation. They will say all cock and bull stories to make money out of you. I will not recommend this particular model to any as I have faced hel lot of problems with it and WINDOWS 8 that is one more thing which is not user friendly
I too am trying to find a place where I can leave a review about this computer. It is the worst computer I have ever gotten. I will NEVER buy a Dell again. both my husband and I bought the same computer and from day 1 there were problems. We were constantly on the phone with techs to try to fix things and I would often leave them working on the computer for hours. by the time the warranty was up after 1 year they wanted me to invest more money in the computer to continue the warranty and I said no way, you have got to be kidding me! I am not putting another dime in this computer. To this day I mostly just use it for the DVD player and another computer for the computer stuff. but even that is a total loss. It doesnt have whatever is needed to actually play the DVD on the computer so I've had to download VLC and another player in order to even be able to play a DVD- even though there is a disk drive. Absolutely ridiculous! I could not be more unhappy with Dell.
