Apple lagert weitere Kapazitäten seiner Produktion der iPhone 12 Smartphone-Serie nach Indien aus. Nach iPhone XR und iPhone 11 wird auch das Modell iPhone 12 im Foxconn-Werk in Tamil Nadu gefertigt. Apple hat in der Vergangenheit bereits Modelle wie das iPhone SE 2020, das iPhone XR, das iPhone 11 und weitere in Indien bauen lassen.
