Motorola has revealed more details for the Edge 50 Pro. Not only has the company confirmed the device's release date, but it has also outlined how many Android OS updates it will receive. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will launch with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 though, a weaker chipset than that which powers the Edge 40 Pro.

So this basically means the Motorola Edge Plus 2024 won't have the 8-Gen3. And since my Edge Plus 2023 has a better chip set then the new release will have, no sense in upgrading with Motorola Next year.

A shame.
