Title: Lenovo 500 USB Type-C Universal Dock expands a PC's I/O with more and often speedy ports
Post by: Redaktion on December 20, 2022, 15:31:19
Most new ultrabooks may have sacrificed some ports in order to get to CES 2023 as thin and light as possible. The new 500 USB Type-C Universal Dock can augment those PCs to USB ports aplenty, dual 10 gigabit per second (Gb/s) type-Cs included. Lenovo thus touts the new accessory as a perfect companion to one of its new IdeaPad laptops.

So basically lenovo think I should pay an extra 250 euros to get the ports I need when it would cost them cents to add them to the motherboard. For a road warrior where is the benefit in having a super thin laptop but having to carry a docking station and (presumably) an extra power supply?
