The Asus is, perhaps, the best value Snapdragon 855-powered device on sale in the US. The device costs just US$500 but that price tag has no negative connotations on the phone's camera performance, as the Zenfone 6—going by DxOMark's latest review—trades blows with the best camera phones in the world.

The zenphone 6 might be a good value but dxomark usually isnt a good way to judge a smartphones camera. They do their tests in ideal conditions with good lighting and little movement. A better way to judge is if you're in a dimly lit room and you're still able to get a good shot of something moving in under a second, which is something I doubt any asus phone is good at.

What a weirdly specific shooting condition.
Exactly. Phone without OIS can't compete in real world scenarios.
