Truly amazing numbers..but what about some independent tests regarding battery degradation over time, compared to say, a battery that is charged at 30 Watts ?
A lot of us would like to use an expensive phone like that for over 2 years..and some of us as long as 4 years..
Indeed. After 18W-25W which really speeds up the slow 10W charging, further fast charging (45W-120W) becomes a tradeoff between battery health vs time spent on charging. I think 45 mins to even 1 hour is acceptable time during which I can live without my phone and it charges.
Pumping that much current at such high voltage so fast is sure to degrade the battery quickly.
Glad to see someone solved a problem that was not a problem. Phone manufacturers are great at that.
"However, according to reports, Xiaomi's 120-watt charger actually "only" delivers 80 watts"
