Im März hatte HMD verkündet, dass man aufgrund von COVID-19 den Zeitplan für Android-10-Updates minimal verändern müsse. Das erste Nokia, welches das Android-10-Upgrade verpasst bekam, war das Nokia 8.1, gefolgt vom Nokia 9 PureView und Nokia 7.1. Nun stehen Updates auch für die kleineren Serien an.
