The price of entry for Razer laptops has always been on the high side. The new entry-level GTX 1660 Ti SKU should make it a little easier for users to pull the trigger by dropping the minimum price of a 2019 Blade 15 from $2000 to $1600 USD.

Eh, it's only available on the base model, which needlessly cuts back on the battery capacity in favor of a pointless 2.5" HDD bay. A less severe battery reduction paired with a M.2 slot would have been much more appreciable. A 65Whr battery is laughable in this class, even if I appreciate Razer's efforts in adding in a GbE port.
Seeing these prices it seems as if premium laptops never got cheaper, these look like ~2012 prices...considering 1660Ti is rather midrange, with half the performance of the flagship 2080MQ.
