Speaking during Tesla's quarterly results press conference, Elon Musk basically confirmed that his promise to have a fully self-driving Tesla by year's end won't materialize. While there will be another big FSD update after which the need to touch the wheel will be even smaller, the mode will still require driver oversight and won't have regulatory approval.

How do you intentionally take lines he said and twist them as promised? He said ideally these would be done by year's end. He didn't say "I promise this will be done by year's end". Very selective hearing, you have.
