As a former vivo smartphone user, all I can say is that vivo smartphones take outstanding shots (maybe better than any other smartphones).

However, vivo's custom UI (Funtouch OS) is an utter bulshit. It is full of bugs. Sometimes lags and freezes. Compared to Xiaomi's MIUI, it lacks a lot of features and functionalities. MIUI (or HyperOS) is a lot smoother and well polished when it comes to system elements.

I'm not even talking about vivo's absurd edge (curve) design. This design is so old that all other manufacturers have found it uncomfortable and abandoned already. But for some reason, vivo still makes phones with curved sides (displays) that makes phone very slippery at hands.

So, I only recommend vivo's phone just for photography not anything else.

News / Asus warranty déjà vu for brok...
Last post by Redaktion - Today at 08:15:41
Asus is back in the news for shady business surrounding warranty repairs. This time, Gamers Nexus is back at the forefront of it all with an Asus ROG Ally that needed warranty repair. Asus subsequently tried to charge GN for unnecessary repairs and completely missed the reason the ROG Ally was sent in for RMA. On top of all that, Gamers Nexus claims to have hundreds of emails from Asus customers recounting similar stories.

Huge solar flares from the peak year of Solar Cycle 25 have disrupted GPS services while threatening Starlink satellites, flights, power grids, and more. Solar flares are enormous bursts of energy from the sun crash into the magnetosphere protecting the earth. Most of the energy is diverted, some become beautiful auroras, and the remaining carry the potential to knock out critical infrastructure.

@eastcoastpete

Am I uncultured as to a broader definition, or does the word "injury" suggest that the device caused overt localized tissue damage, such as burns or lacerations?

Still quite unfortunate for those affected.
