EMUI 10.1 may have introduced multiple features to Huawei's roster of devices, but there are reports of the OS update removing some functionality too. According to frustrated users, EMUI 10.1 has removed call recording and camera resolution options, although not all devices are affected.

The camera resolution option is still there but it's now under the 'Pro' settings only. If you choose 'Pro' instead of 'Photo' within the camera menu then you can switch to 40MP resolution. It's actually easier than it was before because the 40MP option is right there on the screen instead of hidden away in the settings.
Call recording is illegal in most countries...well,recording isn't illegal per se, it's the replaying if the recording that's against the law. But it's almost the same.
As for the resolution options, you can still do it under pro mode...which is the only mode worth of using max res.
Since I updated my Huawei P30 device to EMUI 10.1 call recording is not working and another problem is when I playing video link of YouTube or Facebook in WhatsApp after closing audio remain continue in background.
Since
upgrading my Huawei P30 Pro I keep having the message unable to authorise appear on the screen.
