Title: EV retooling to cost Buick dealers US$300,000 a pop as new Electra E5 SUV is unveiled
Post by: Redaktion on December 21, 2022, 19:42:12
It will cost US$300,000-US$400,000 per dealership to retrofit the lots for electric vehicle sales from their current state, reports Buick. Those dealers who don't accept the GM buyout and prefer to remain independent will have to prepare for the EV era of cars like the Electra E5 that Buick will exclusively make from 2024 onwards.

GM has permanently lost a loyal Buick customer. Electric vehicles are far from being practical. I hope all the dealers drop Buick like a hot potato.

most of them will. Buick is quite an unknown brand outside of the US, and even there, you can ask people around if they know what a Buick is.

Ford, Toyota & Honda are more recognized as car brands than Buick.

This is just GM being obnoxious and trying to play it big again. We will see how hard this plan will back fire

So much trouble to placate the anti-carbon cult. World Economic Forum, IPCC of the UN etc.

Electric cars cause more damage to the environment (lithium mining) but the anti-carbon 'sustainability' cultists won't tell you that. It's all a scam to inconvenience and impoverish you.

By the way, fun quiz... where does the power from those machines used to charge electric cars come from?
