The author may be ignorant on how many coins can be mined but the affect might as well be the same. Eth is a huge ocean compared to the other pow coins. What do you think is going to happen to those little puddles when all the ocean going ships try to jump into them?

Proof of work cryptocurrencies make up the majority of the digital currency world.
