Despite its new name, the Dimensity 6300 has all too much in common with some MediaTek predecessors of years gone by. Then again, the OEM asserts that the smartphones to be based on this silicon will have all they need to compete in the affordable handset arena of 2024 with up-to-date features such as HyperEngine "gaming technologies" and 5G UltraSave 3.0+ power-efficiency tweaks.
