Expresscard Slot (36/54 mm), was ist das?

ich bin neu hier, war auch vorher noch nie in einem Forum registriert. Bitte entschuldigt mich, falls ich etwas falsch mache.

Der Expresscard Slot, ist das ein Update der PCMCIA-Schnittstelle?
Ist sie compatibel zur PCMCIA?
