Title: Sick of Wi-Fi video buffering? MIT may have found a solution
Post by: Redaktion on August 19, 2019, 12:57:55
A team from MIT CSAIL has developed a solution that can dramatically improve streaming video quality over Wi-Fi networks. Dubbed Minerva, it has been shown to reduce buffering by 50 percent and can even improve image fidelity in around 30 percent of cases.

Maybe if you knew anything about networking you would realise that the comment is absolutely correct. There is a thing called MU-MIMO wich in combination with some kind of QOS in the router does prevent videos from buffering even with multiple devices connected and streaming, as long as you have a good enough wifi connection and internet bandwidth. No MIT needed
