Title: The Motorola Edge S sold more than 10,000 copies in its first two minutes
Post by: Redaktion on February 06, 2021, 14:25:53
The Motorola Edge S is the first smartphone with Qualcomm's 'new' Snapdragon 870 chipset, effectively a repackaged Snapdragon 865. Nonetheless, Edge S' price and performance have attracted people in China, where it sold over 10,000 units in under two minutes of going on sale.

I refuse to call this the Edge S. It should be called Ace Plus, X5. Good phone but the plastic frame (not back as it's fine being plastic) makes it a no go for me. IPC screen not ideal but I could live with it because it's a quality one.

Just a fraction of what Xiaomi did right? Probably still stock issue.

It's not unreasonable to assume so, because if they reached any other notable milestone they'd have advertised that instead. And 2 mins is actually not very short by standards of Chinese flash sales, selling out the whole stock in seconds is not uncommon, intentionally so.
