It's possible the recent revelation of the full specs for the Xbox Series X may have actually confirmed some key details about the specs for the PlayStation 5. Important GPU information about both the XSX and PS5 were shared by a poster on a forum in December, and surprisingly the figures given for the Microsoft console have turned out to be accurate.

If all the difference is in the clock speed, I can't imagine why this would be, is Microsoft having trouble fitting a larger PSU? A larger heatsink?
The truth of one statement doesnt necessarily indicate the truth or validity of the other.
At the time of fishers post, AMD zen2 architecture was already doing the rounds and it was clear, and evident that the one revealed was almost certainly that of the new xbox console, so those specs being right aren't surprising. This has NO bearing on the truthfulness of his statement upon ps5 performance.
