The ThinkPad E490 scores with a quiet or silent operation, very good input devices, simple maintenance options, and a long battery life. In addition, the device stands out with a good price-performance ratio. The test unit that was made available to us can be purchased for slightly more than 700 Euros (~$780; $678 in the US).

not bad, lenovo. forget about -10% of max cinebench perf. this machine is quiet, as it should be.
one thing..make the damn screen 16/10 or even 3/2. remember good old 5/4, 1280x1024? the dream. widescreen is BAD for the small screens. that plastic s*** under the screen could be also..the screen.
