I purchased this mouse about a year ago and used it for a few months until the scroll wheel started acting up. The tactile and audible click became unaligned with the click registering on the computer. This made using the scroll wheel click very difficult. Additionally, the scrolling started to jump up and down when scrolling in a single direction. I had to abandon this mouse.
My only gripe with it, after owning this version and the previous one twice, is that they feel refurbished in the sense that I almost play daily and only at night and that's not hardcore gamer 10hrs in a row and still the switches fail within a year. (Switches not easily to replace since they are double soldered) that's why I'm thinking going with latest Aorus mouse which is $150 but I don't have to buy a new mouse when switches burnout since it comes ready for swapping switches out.

I've seen similar complaints on the M65's Amazon product page as well. Corsair could have an QC issue here. However, I've been using this mouse for the better part of 6+ months before deciding to write this review and am yet to encounter switch failure. Could be that my review unit was "lucky"? Did you contact Corsair regarding this given that there's a 2-year warranty?

Do you mean the Aorus M5? Looks like a nice mouse to check out. But that isn't $150, is it?
