Title: Sony could be the first OEM to bring back the headphone jack after removing it
Post by: Redaktion on December 09, 2018, 13:49:36
The headphone jack began its mass exodus away from flagships last year, with Sony ditching it on the Xperia XZ2 phones. For the first time, though, we could see a company bring back the much-wanted port.

One could only wish. They're probably trying to shove their EIS upon the user, thinking it's better.

As for the 3.5 mm, reintroducing it in a compact flagship (a niche with very devoted customers) is a nice reason to jack up the price... see what I did there? :D

That's good to hear, but the last "compact" was xz1 compact with 130mm length. 2 was 135mm. 4 is supposed to be 140mm.  It just keeps growing.

14 cm would be the perfect size for me... and if they add the jack they'll get my money
