f/1.6 aperture and a 1/1.12-inch is BETTER than 1 inch with F1.9

Sounds like DC dimming, also explains the unbelievably high minimum brightness, I don't think any more than 10% of people are ok with extended use of 8nits in absolute darkness.

The aperture is larger, but that doesn't mean the lens is better.
