Apple arbeitet beim nächsten macOS-Update High Sierra hauptsächlich am Unterbau und will macOS mit neuem Filesystem und Metal 2 fit für die Zukunft machen. Neben VR-Kompatibilität gibt es aber auch einige neue Features, die Endanwender freuen werden, beispielsweise Tracking-Schutz in Safari.
