The Intel Core i7-9700K may seem comparable to the i7-8700K in many ways. However, it can be boosted up to 4.9GHz (albeit on one core only). The i7-9700K has also recently exhibited the ability to OC up to 5.3GHz on air and beat the i7-8700K on Geekbench.

The i7-9700K Geekbench test "blows the i7-8700K out of the water"?
With 5% speed improvement in single and 10% in multicore tests?
Yeah, that really "blows" it...
@ s-plus
Exactly! ;D
Man these desktop chips are disgustingly overpriced garbage compared to mobile tech.
The upcoming 7nm iPad pro SoC will score 5500 single and 16000 multi..all that while running at 5W and also having a 1TFLOPS GPU, image processing and 4+G modem.
Let that sink in..
