AMD's Zen 4 X3D lineup could be launched sometime in H1, 2022. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D and Ryzen 9 7950X3D will use a second-generation V-cache and perform up to 30% faster than the corresponding Zen 4 processors.

If you read the article correctly,  it says 3D cache improves performance within Zen 4 gen by 30% whereas 3D cache increased performance within 5000 series by only 15%.
The generational leap is not 30%.
