The Intel Core i7-1195G7 has been spotted on Geekbench recording incredible results for a laptop chip. The Tiger Lake-U part nipped at 5 GHz during testing and pulled out a single-core performance score that would leave it in the realm of Rocket Lake and Ryzen 5000 desktop processors in the chart if it was an average result.

Well the single core performance looks good, but the CPU destined for laptops hardly turbo for 15-20 seconds so it'll be of no use although that thing will shine in gaming oriented laptops.

I bet you don't own a tiger lake laptop do you? My Stealth 15m with the i7 1185G7 will max out single core and all core turbo indefinitely

...Whats the point if even the games are multi now?

Extremely high single core performance and all core turbo (which the tiger lake i7's can do) still game just fine.
