It doesn't really matter how good the laptop performs in tests if the company cannot be a trusted supplier and honour Customers warranties without trying to rip them off. Sales creates customers, service retains them, creating future sales. Disrespect your customers and you lose them, many companies can attest to this.

Frankly I've owned and used Asus products for years and while (thankfully it seems!!) I've never had the need to reach out to their support or get a RMA number the experience that others have had is clearly unacceptable.

How this sort of thing has gone on for (decades?) surely amounts to WHO had the bad experience with Asus. Given a youtube'er with lots of followers can make more noise (and embarrassment!!) then 100's or even 1000's of lone purchasers without a voice.

Asus's response is even worse.

Doubtful that anything will change.

Google Cloud has deleted in error the $135 billion account and data for UniSuper, a retirement fund company holding the pension savings for over 647,000 members who work at 37 Australian universities. The funds were unavailable for two weeks until May 15, 2024 while the cloud provider rushed to restore everything.
