It is no secret that Microsoft is planning to release the Surface Laptop 4, and two new Geekbench listings have underlined this. The next Surface Laptop should be available with six or eight-core Ryzen APUs that support SMT. Chances are there that they will be Renoir APUs, but GPU details suggest that they will be Microsoft Surface Edition SKUs.

Those single core geekbench scores are nothing to write home about. I have an 8th gen core i7 that can beat it

It still seems strange to me to release a premium laptop with an over a year old processor when both Lucienne and Cezanne are drop-in replacements. Especially if they're made on the same node so AMD can shift allocations around.
