Next week, Apple will reveal the A15 Bionic, the SoC that is expected to feature at the heart of the iPhone 13 series. Leaked performance data suggests that the A15 Bionic could pack plenty of GPU power, possibly more so than even the Exynos 2200 and its AMD RDNA 2-based GPU.

To be frank, we got to a point where this additional performance doesn't bring much. Not even if you do heavy editing on your phone (which almost no one does). The only benefit is that the phone might last a few months longer 4-5 years from now. ;-)

I think it serves as a good motivator for competitors to deliver. Main interest here is Samsung, Xiaomi and Huawei's "Desktop mode" which can turn Android phones into a fully fledged PC. Not that Apple would ever put "MacOS mode" into their iPhones, but one can dream...
